The nature of field service work is achieving customer satisfaction through problem solving in a timely fashion.

Our Team of Field Technicians perform inspections, repairs and at times installation services on Window and Door products, used in residential and light commercial applications. They enjoy the freedom of being an Independent 1099 Contractor, with the steady flow of work and the fact that they don’t have to advertise or cold call to obtaining the service opportunities we provide. Our Team of field techs understand how to maintain their relationship with UTS; simply provide excellent service, be on-time and the work load will continue to expand.

UTS Contractor Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with doors and/or windows; including installation and troubleshooting
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication
  • Ability to problem solve with the goal of completing the task on the first trip
  • Daily access to the internet and the ability to take digital photos; required to interact with the UTS field service web application (Insight)
  • Late model vehicle that is reliable, projects a professional appearance and can transport full door units and window glass (or trailer)
  • Liability insurance with 1,000,000 minimum (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a local, state and federal background check
