Position Overview

As our parking management portfolio continues to grow, the Operations Manager will play a primary role in directly managing our three busiest facilities. Leading a team of eight associates, you will be responsible for all aspects of the facilities’ operations, including revenue control, maximization and reporting, client and customer services and daily logistics.  Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have a direct hand in driving profitability while continuously improving the quality of operations through efficiency and leadership.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides direct supervision to the line management and frontline associates on a daily basis.
  • Ensures the daily operations within his/her area of responsibility perform in accordance of company policy by ensuring each location is properly staffed, has required supplies and petty cash and follows set opening and closing procedures.
  • Supports the region's business development objectives by sourcing leads and playing a key role by participating in the RFP process from start to finish.
  • Works with the senior leadership team and the client to ensure revenue opportunities are maximized from both a transient and contract parker perspective.
  • Oversees the contract parker program by ensuring customers are properly registered, A/R is billed and collected on a timely basis and responds to corporate account requests and concerns.
  • Reviews daily revenue collected, the associated paperwork and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness on a daily basis.
  • Ensures all facilities within the area of responsibility operate in accordance with company policy including revenue control, equipment maintenance, proper and accurate signage and internal audit scores.
  • Ensures each facility’s safety and security for guests and employees by reviewing Maintenance Checklists with location management and conducting periodic safety audits.

Minimum Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in General Business or related field
  • 3 years sales and marketing experience required
  • 3 years management experience required
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work with a diverse group of both internal and external stakeholders
