A fast growing, national parking company is expanding in the D.C. market and in order to continue our success and expansion, we need the best and the brightest working for our company. We are currently looking for a Regional Vice President of Operations to help maintain our nationally recognized services in Washington, D.C. 

The Regional Vice President, Operations has overall responsibility for the planning, developing, executing and managing annual business and financial plans through the leadership of the company’s management and line staff.  This position is ultimately responsible for delivering company and client expectations by ensuring the locations meet financial, new business and client retention targets.  It is also responsible for sourcing, developing and leading talent to ensure both employee career development goals and company performance standards are met consistently.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and train managers to ensure job expectations are met
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relations, including identifying client needs/operational efficiencies and attending client functions
  • Represent company’s interest at conventions, trade shows, and similar events and functions
  • Develop budgets and monitor financial reports to ensure the region’s business goals and those of the facilities within the portfolio are met
  • Review portfolio performance based on revenue analysis, profit/loss reports, and various accounting based reports
  • Review and evaluate audits to ensure integrity of revenue control
  • Ensure compliance of company and client policies and procedures
  • Oversight of marketing plan for regional growth and for facilities within portfolio
  • Coordinate transition of new locations
  • Regularly review physical condition of facilities within portfolio including landscaping, signage, surface, lighting, automated equipment, security, etc. and coordinate improvements as needed
  • Maintain Accounts Receivable within targeted A/R goals
  • Review client statements for accuracy
  • Actively pursue and obtain new business for the company
  • Other duties may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 10 years managerial experience
  • Minimum of 5 years managerial experience within the parking industry
  • Experience managing multiple verticals of parking including hotels and Class A office buildings
  • Experience managing a portfolio of over 25 properties with a large team of employees including senior level managers
  • Experience creating annual budgets and working with financial statements/accounting, P&L reporting and budgeting
  • Proven ability to plan and organize workloads by establishing priorities and respecting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with client focus, and an ability to work with all staff levels
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Experience with industry organizations
  • Ability to maintain flexible schedule in order to meet operational needs
  • Ability to source new business opportunities for company
