Part-time CDL Shuttle Driver - Mesa, AZ

Pay: $15/hr

Schedule: Must have open availability M-F 7:00am-6:00pm. 2-3 shifts per week to be expected.

We are a full-service valet, shuttle, and garage management organization based out of Arizona serving the Southwest since 1980. Our clientele includes restaurants, hospitals, shopping malls, hotels, sporting events, and casinos. American Valet is looking for team members with great customer service and time management experience.

Our Shuttle Drivers are responsible for:

·         Always speak professionally and graciously, smile, and maintain eye contact.

·         Provide daily transportation for passengers to and from destinations. Transportation may also include special charters and events.

·         Perform pre- and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, adherence to prescribed Department of Transportation standards, and compliance with proper safety standards

·         Perform routine cleaning and bus maintenance activities; maintain neat and orderly appearance

·         Conduct re-fueling activities, to include maintaining assigned fuel usage logs.

·         Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers and managers.

·         Act as an ambassador of the company at all times while on or off property with an understanding that you are a representative of both the client and American Valet.

·         Keep the shuttle bus secure and follow all safety procedures.

 Requirements

§  At least 21 years of age.

§ CDL w/ Passenger Endorsement

§ At least 2 years' experience shuttling passengers

§  High school diploma or equivalent.

§  Valid Driver License.

§  Pass DMV Motor Vehicle Report and Criminal Background Check.

§  Pass DOT Medical Exam for CMV Certification. 

§  Professional appearance – no facial piercings, visible tattoos, must follow grooming policies.

§  An enthusiasm for customer service.

§  Able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends, part-time or full-time work.

§  Able to communicate fluently in English. 

§  Able to work well independently with minimal supervision.
